SPI high precision adjustable V-blocks perform all the functions that usually require multiple blocks, shims, or jacks. Hardened and ground anvils support up to 1,000 lbs. Wide angle V accepts 3/16 inch to 5 inch diameters. Top flats ground parallel to base for holding wide, flat parts; narrow flats may be held on a parallel across top. Vibration lock (position lock) prevents creeping. 1/2 inch total rise of V with 0.050" per revolution. The dial is graduated in increments of 0.01 inch. Supports single and multiple diameter shaft bars by quickly leveling the work for inspection without use of centers. Base: 1-3/4" x 4"; V section: 13/16" Wide. Height closed: 3 inch; height open: 3-1/2 inch. Standard V angle of 120 degrees.
