BUILT FOR NARROW WORK SURFACES — 2x4s, TRIM, MOLDING, AND MORE: When less than 50% of the laser pattern lands on your work surface, alignment can become more challenging. This 6" aluminum plate extends the surface around your drill point so both the Reference Pattern and at least one Alignment Pattern stay fully visible — on narrow boards, thin stock, and edges where the pattern would otherwise fall off.
KEEPS THE PATTERN IN VIEW, START TO FINISH: On narrow materials the alignment circles run out of surface — not because something is wrong, but because there's nothing to project onto. The extension plate fixes that. Full alignment reference, visible throughout the entire drill.
SIMPLE TO USE — HOLDS BY HAND OR TACKS DOWN: Place flat on your work surface with the 1/2" center hole over your drilling location. Hold with your free hand or tack down temporarily before drilling. Light grey anodized surface provides high contrast for laser visibility. Works alongside Chuck Extensions for longer bits on narrow surfaces.
