Opti-Heal dressings create a moist environment, which can help accelerate healing and reduce pain and scarring. Opti Heal Silicone Wound Contact Layer is an open mesh, silicone wound contact layer that protects the wound bed while allowing exudate to pass freely into a suitable secondary absorbent dressing. It is designed to stick to skin and not wounds or surgical closures. The contact layer also features a high perforation rate of the wound contact layer for fast wicking and minimal risk of skin damage. The contact layer is repositionable and flexible for wound monitoring and comfort during wear and may remain in place for up to 14 days, while the secondary dressing is changed as needed dependent on the wound condition and exudate layer. The dressing can be cut to size to achieve the best fit for your wound. For use with a suitable absorbent dressing in the management of light to moderate exudating wounds such as Surgical wounds, Cuts, Abrasions, Skin Tears.
