The Konnected DC to USB-C PD Fast Charge Converter takes any 10-30V DC source and outputs a full-speed USB-C Power Delivery port up to 65W. Modern devices like iPads, Fire tablets, and Raspberry Pi 5 require PD-negotiated voltages above 5V to charge or operate at full speed. This converter handles that negotiation automatically - no configuration needed. Common installs: powering a wall-mounted tablet from an alarm panel 12V aux supply, hardwiring a USB-C fast charger into a car or truck dashboard, running a Raspberry Pi from a 24V solar system, or installing a permanent USB-C port on a boat 12V house battery. Input connects via bare wire leads. Wire directly to your DC source using standard butt connectors or terminal blocks. Input is protected against reverse polarity - a miswired connection will not damage the unit. Supported protocols: USB PD3.0, PD2.0, PPS, QC3.0, QC2.0, AFC, FCP, Apple, and Samsung fast charge. Technical specs: Input DC 10-30V, max input 78W. Output 5V/9V/12V/15V/20V at up to 3.25A, max output 65W. Conversion efficiency 90% at rated load. Quiescent draw under 30mA. Operating range -20C to 60C. At ambient temperatures above 35C, derate to 50% of rated current for long-term reliability. USB-C cable not included.
