McInerney (1899-1956). Ordered from Bath Iron Works on 27 February 1976 as part of the FY75 program, McInerney was laid down on 16 January 1978, launched on 4 November 1978, and commissioned on 15 December 1979.McInerney remained in service until 31 August 2010, when the ship was decommissioned and transferred to the Pakistan Navy. After a major overhaul and refurbishment, the ship was renamed Alamgir (F260), and entered service in early 2011.
