Deliberate Design: This candle holder was designed by Cecilie Toklum of Formgiverne as a direct continuation of the Lyngby vase first produced in the 1930s, carrying the same cylindrical discipline and groove-based design logic into a new object for the table.
Everyday Porcelain: Cast in white porcelain and finished to Lyngby Porcelaen's production standard, this candle holder is dishwasher safe and built to be used daily rather than reserved for occasion. The glaze is consistent and the base sits level without adjustment.
Graduated Grooves: The flutes are not uniform. Cecilie Toklum designed them wide at the base and progressively narrower toward the top, a detail that gives the holder a visual lift and draws a clear but unhurried reference to the original Lyngby vase.
Lit From Within: The narrow grooves catch and distribute light as the candle burns, casting a soft pattern across the surface of the holder. On a dinner table or shelf, the effect is understated and deliberate, as if the porcelain was always meant to hold a flame.
Arrives Gift Boxed: This candle holder arrives in Lyngby Porcelaen branded packaging, suited for a housewarming, birthday, or table-setting occasion. It sits naturally alongside the Lyngby glass and porcelain vases, sharing the fluted visual language of the broader range.
Description
Lyngby Porcelæn small conical candle holder is 7cm tall. The simple and elegant design of the tapered candle holder matches the original Lyngby Vase design first produced by Lyngby Porcelæn in the 1930s. The conical candle holder is designed by Cecilie Toklum, which created the candle holder with the wide grooves down and narrower grooves at the top. The candle holder also looks like an 11cm model, and two cone candle holders complement each other beautifully when used together.
