Tamiya Presents an updated reissue of the 1:24 scale Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo model 24014 with new Cartograf decals, updated building instructions and packaging. The German Racing Championship (DRM) comprised two classes with displacements of 2,000 cm³ and more or less than 2,000 cm³. The Ford Zakspeed Capri Turbo was a vehicle that challenged the BMW 320 Turbo. He debuted at the eighth DRM run at Hockenheim in the summer of 1978 and was characterised by an extremely low front, a wide body and striking red and yellow markings on a black background. This vehicle regularly rode in the top group and won its first victory at the spring run on the Nürburgring in October 1978. The following year, he took second place at the first DRM run in Zolder and won the second run at Hockenheim.
