Description

Misuya Bari needles are designed for traditional Japanese hand sewing, including sashiko and embroidery. Each needle is carefully crafted to support smooth stitching and consistent handling.

The needle tip is formed with extremely fine angles that are not overly sharp, helping the needle pass through fabric without unnecessarily damaging thread fibers. This balance supports clean, controlled stitching.

The surface is finished using a vertical polishing process, creating fine linear textures that help reduce friction as the needle moves through fabric. This allows for smooth penetration without surface coating.

The needle eye is round and precisely shaped to help prevent thread snagging or breakage. The eye is slightly narrower than the needle shaft, becoming flush with the shaft once threaded, which helps maintain smooth movement through cloth.

Through a controlled heat treatment process, different parts of the needle are given appropriate properties: a firm tip, a softer area around the eye, and a resilient shaft. This structure supports flexibility and durability during hand sewing.

Each finished needle is individually inspected by skilled artisans, checking the tip, eye, straightness, and surface condition to ensure consistent quality before packaging.
