If your original ABS has warning lights illuminated but can still be accessed by a diagnostic scanner, the VIN is still bound to your vehicle. The technician must unbind the original module first using a professional tool.
If your original ABS has completely failed and cannot be detected by any diagnostic tools, the vehicle will automatically release the VIN binding.
After confirming the above status, ask your local dealer or repair shop to erase the old data from the supplied module, then complete reprogramming and vehicle matching.
