Installation Information: The installation requires access to the valve body assembly within the transmission casing.De-energize the vehicle electrical system and secure the vehicle on a suitable lift or jack stands.Drain the transmission fluid by removing the transmission fluid pan.Remove the transmission fluid pan and associated gasket to expose the valve body.Locate the existing Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) lock-up solenoid(s) connected to the valve body wiring harness.Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the solenoid(s).Unbolt or release the retention mechanism securing the solenoid(s) to the valve body.Remove the old solenoid(s) and orientation and sealing positions.Install the replacement solenoid(s) into their designated locations on the valve body with correct seating.Secure the solenoid(s) using the appropriate fasteners and specified torque values.Reconnect the electrical connector(s).Reinstall the transmission fluid pan with a gasket and refill the transmission with manufacturer-specified fluid to the correct operational level.
