Unlock Your I2C Potential with the TCA9548A 8-Channel Multiplexer
Have you ever hit a wall when trying to connect multiple OLED displays or identical sensors to a single Arduino or Raspberry Pi because they all have the same I2C address? Our 8-Channel I2C Cascade Expander is the ultimate solution for address conflicts and port expansion.
Key Features & Benefits
1. Zero Address Conflicts
This module acts as a gatekeeper, allowing your microcontroller to talk to 8 independent I2C buses. You can now use 8 identical sensors (like the BME280 or MPU6050) on one system without any communication errors.
2. Plug-and-Play Hybrid Interface
We designed this board for maximum convenience. It features 4 x PH2.0 4-Pin anti-reverse ports for quick, secure connections and 4 x standard 2.54mm pin headers for traditional jumper wire DIY projects.
3. Flexible Addressing
The module's own I2C address is set to 0x74 by default. By simply shorting the A0 or A1 pads on the back, you can change the address from 0x74 to 0x77, enabling you to cascade up to 4 of these modules for a massive 32-channel setup!
4. Reliable Performance
Fully compatible with both 100kHz (Standard) and 400kHz (Fast) I2C modes. Whether you are building a complex robot or a multi-sensor environmental monitor, data transmission remains stable.
