These M42 bimetal band saw blades are engineered for demanding metal cutting tasks. Measuring 1140mm in length, 13mm in width, and 0.65mm in thickness, they are compatible with a wide range of metal-cutting band saw machines. The cutting teeth are made of M42 high-speed steel with 8% cobalt, offering improved heat resistance and edge durability. They are electron-beam welded to a flexible spring steel backing, combining rigidity and flexibility for extended blade life. This product is available in seven TPI configurations: 6T, 6-10T, 8-12T, 10-14T, 14T, 14-18T, and 24T. Users can select a TPI based on the material type and cutting precision required—lower TPI for faster rough cuts, higher TPI for finer results. These blades are suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass. Not recommended for cutting wood, ceramic, or tungsten-based materials. Each order includes a 3-pack of blades, ready for immediate use.
