  • Size Note: All properly sized solid tires have a slightly smaller inner diameter than the rim's outer diameter. Unlike inflatable tires, solid tires lack inner tube air pressure to stay tight against the rim, so they're intentionally designed this way—using the material's elastic deformation (stretching then shrinking) for a secure fit. This is normal, not a wrong size, and the tire's bead seat width being larger than the rim's groove width follows the same logic
