Description
Male VCR to KF Adapters allow for the adaptation of a Male VCR fitting to a CF flange as a single interface vacuum component. Used to connect items with two different type flanges.
VCR fittings seal by the compression of a gasket between two highly polished beads on the surfaces of the VCR connectors.
These fittings use a copper gasket and knife-edge flanges to achieve the high vacuum seal and can operate down to 10-13 torr (10-11 Pa) and can be to 450 °C for bake-out.
Adapters available with male and female VCR connectors terminating in either CF or KF flanges.
