Imperial shaft thread diameter: 9.525 mm/0.375 inch; Shaft length: 18 mm/0.709 inch; Threaded portion height: 10 mm/0.394 inch; Base diameter: 16.8 mm/0.661 inch. Requires 9.525 mm/0.375 inch or larger hole in the pickguard to install the pot. Material: Brass shaft and thread
  • Resistance: 250K ohm with standard ±20% resistance tolerance; In general, 250K-ohm potentiometers are used with single-coil pickups. While any resistance value can be used, a 250K pot yields a slightly warmer tone compared to a 500K one. This is because the 250K pot bleeds off (or attenuates) some high frequencies to ground, contributing to that warmer character
  • Linear Taper: Linear Taper (B) increases or decreases in a linear fashion. Mostly, Linear Taper (B) are used for Volume controls. In practice, you can use an Audio Taper for volume or a Linear Taper for tone—ultimately, the choice comes down to personal preference
