Our Polygactin 910 suture is a synthetic absorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of copolymers made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Polyglactin 910 is also coated in order to create a smoother synthetic absorbable suture that will pass readily through tissue. It loses its original tensile strength by 5 weeks post-implantation, and the absorption is essentially complete between 56 and 70 days.

Our DemeCRYL Polygactin 910 design allows for smooth passage through tissue and easy knot tying, and the coating is intended to support easy tissue passage, precise knot placement, smooth tie down, a decreased tendency to irritate tissue, greater tensile strength, and a longer absorption period.

DemeTECH uses high-quality stainless-steel needles to ensure that every suture maintains exceptional strength and ductility. Every box of our sutures comes with instructions for use and 12 suture packs individually wrapped in DemeTRACK packaging. Do not resterilize. Discard open unused sutures. Store at a cool room temperature. Avoid prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures.
