1. Choosing a linear displacement sensor range requires margin, and it is recommended to choose a slightly larger range based on the actual stroke. After adjusting the position, tighten the bracket screws.
2. When installing sensors, attention should be paid to keeping the probe perpendicular to the detection surface. If the deviation angle is too large, it will affect the measurement accuracy and service life of the sensor.
3. The length of the linear displacement sensor is connected to the circuit as a voltage divider, displaying the actual value of the measured position with relative voltage.
4. The sensor power supply voltage should be stable, and industrial power supply requires a stability of ± 0.1%, otherwise it will cause significant fluctuations in measurement data.
5. The power supply should have sufficient capacity. If the power supply capacity is too small, it is easy to cause display data to jump, especially when the solenoid valve drive power supply is combined with the sensor power supply, it is more prone to digital jumping.
6. There should be no external interference, including electrostatic interference and high-frequency interference. Therefore, the sensor signal line should be routed separately from the equipment power line in separate slots; The installation of sensors should use a mandatory grounding bracket and ensure that the sensor housing is well grounded; The signal line should use shielded wire, and the shielded wire should be grounded or connected to the negative pole of the DC power supply at one end of the electrical box.
7. Sensors should be wired correctly. If there is a wiring error, it is possible to severely damage the sensor.
8. Long term use of sensors can affect the contact resistance of brushes due to the intrusion of water, oil, dust, etc., which can cause fluctuations in sensor measurement data.
