1. 31091 Limit switch is a very important safety device on a furnace. The function of a limit switch is to protect the furnace from overheating. If the plenum gets too hot, the limit switch shuts off the burner.
2.The Limit Switches are equipped with high-quality aluminum alloy and thermoplastic materials for superior conductivity and high reliability.
3. Just use simple tools like a screwdriver and wire strippers to remove the burned - out switch, unscrew the screws, install the new limit switch with the front side facing up, and correctly connect the leads.
