Q: Which systems require driver installation?
A: UAC1.0: Driver-free on all systems.
UAC2.0: Windows 7/8 requires drivers. Windows 10/11 are driver-free for PCM, but need drivers for DSD. MacOS and Linux are driver-free.

Q: Q100 can't work with my phone via USB, is a driver required?
A: No, it's drive-free. Please use the supplied OTG-compatible USB cable and ensure the phone support OTG. On some phones, you may need to enable OTG in settings. For iPhones/iPads with a Lightning port, a high-current camera kit is required.

Q: Do the XLR and RCA outputs work simultaneously, and is the volume synchronized?
A: Yes, both outputs work at the same time, with volume control applied to both simultaneously.

Q: What op-amps are used, and can they be replaced?
A: The Q100 uses five OPA1612 surface-mount op-amps, which are soldered directly onto the board and cannot be replaced or swapped out.

Q: Which functions can only be controlled via the remote control?
A: Only clearing Bluetooth pairing and UAC1.0/2.0 switching must require the remote; all other functions can be operated from the panel.

Q: Does switching UAC mode require restarting the Q100?
A: Usually no restart is required. For a small number of computers the USB cable may need to be reconnected.
