The Forstner drill bit has an excellent service life for drilling precision holes. The toothed design ensures less friction and heat, resulting in greater durability.
The short centring tip of the precision drill bit has two main cutting edges and one periphery (toothed-edge) cutting edge for precise results.
The large chip-free zones, which allow for optimised chip removal, further enhance the drill bit's precision and speed.
The Forstner drill bit enables smooth, splinter-free drilling of blind holes as well as edge and slant drilling, e.g. fixing hinges, dowelling or removing knotholes.
It is very well suited to drilling soft and hard wood, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard.
