The Hamilton 79889 HxSil C18 HPLC column has stainless-steel hardware and silica packing material type for general-purpose reversed-phase. The stainless-steel hardware prevents particulates and highly adsorptive compounds from reaching the column. Silica packing material is used in general-purpose applications and provides pressure stability up to 5,000 psi. It has a 2.0 to 7.5 pH range, 100-angstrom pore size, and filters 3-micron particles.
