FEATURE: Drill Bits are made of M2 high-speed steel, high hardness and wear resistance and are suitable for processing medium and high-hard metals. our high-speed steel drill bits offer exceptional oxidation resistance while dramatically enhancing hardness and durability for superior performance in demanding applications.
APPLICATION: The M2 high speed steel drill bit provides superior performance and is the optimal choice for most metal drilling applications including low/medium carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, cast iron and aluminum alloys. When drilling harder materials such as high carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steels, it is recommended to use a coolant to reduce wear
INSTRUCTION: Ensure the drill bit axis is perpendicular to the workpiece surface to prevent lateral force and breakage. Use appropriate rotational speed: Use lower speeds when machining materials like stainless steel. As a general rule, harder materials require slower speeds. Maintain steady and moderate feed pressure.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended to use cutting fluid (e.g., emulsion, oil-based coolant) to effectively reduce temperature, minimize wear, extend drill bit life, and improve hole wall quality. If coolant is unavailable, adopt an intermittent drilling method by frequently retracting the drill to clear chips and dissipate heat. Ensure the drill bit is securely clamped in the chuck or tool holder to prevent slipping and vibration.
