Description

This wire inoculating loop is used to pick up and transfer small samples of microorganisms from a microbial culture through a process called inoculation. Nichrome loops can withstand repeated flaming and sterilization. This loop is three inches of twisted 25-gauge nichrome wire with 5-mm loop mounted in an 8 aluminum handle.
