Exceptionally sharp, it is capable of effortlessly cleaving through thick bamboo in a single strike, while also being precisely honed for delicate tasks such as slicing fruit or cutting plastic water bottles.
<b>【Material】 </b>The saya (scabbard) is crafted from hardwood, finished with a leather wrap and a silk sageo (cord). The tsuka (handle) is constructed over imitation ray skin (samegawa) and tightly wrapped with leather cord, secured by two bamboo mekugi (pegs). The habaki (blade collar) and seppa (spacers) are made of brass, while the tsuba (guard), kashira (pommel), and fuchi (collar) are crafted from durable alloy.
