1. Please check the label on your light string near the plug to ensure the load per channel does not exceed the limit.
2. We recommend avoiding connecting the Christmas light string controller to a light string that already has a built in controller. Please use a standard LED or incandescent light string whenever possible.
3. The controller features non polarized outlets (both slots are the same size) and does not accept polarized plugs. If your light set has a polarized male plug, an adapter may be required.
4. The product has flame-retardant properties, so you can use it with confidence.
