Replacement thermostat poppet valve kit for 1991-2007 Mercury and Mariner 2-stroke outboard engines. The 120°F brass thermostat maintains proper engine operating temperature by controlling coolant flow through the powerhead. A malfunctioning thermostat can cause overheating or overcooling, leading to poor performance and accelerated engine wear. This all-in-one kit includes every component needed for a complete thermostat service: thermostat, poppet valve, cup, diaphragm, spring, dual gaskets, elbow fitting, screw, and cable tie. Compatible with Mercury 40-60 HP 2-stroke outboards including looper and jet configurations. Replaces Mercury 14586A4 and 75692A13.
