There are three LED indicators on the tester:
L1 (Red) → XLR Pin 1
L2(Green)→ XLR Pin 2
L3 (Blue) → XLR Pin 3
Indicator Status:
All LEDs on —— DMX Signal output normal.
Only L1 on —— Pin 1 open circuit or no signal.
Only L2 on —— Pin 2 open circuit or no signal.
Only L3 on —— Pin 3 open circuit or no signal.
L1+L2 on —— Short circuit between Pin 1 and Pin 2.
L1+L3 on —— Short circuit between Pin 1 and Pin 3.
L2+L3 on —— Short circuit between Pin 2 and Pin 3.
All LEDs off —— More than two pins open circuit or no signal.
Notes:
For DMX512 light signals only.
Please do not test other equipment to avoid damage.
