Unlike other dowels, our SPAX dowels are geometry matched to use with our wood screws. They are made of nylon, a special dowel collar protects the surface of the building material and prevents the dowel from disappearing in the drill hole. A twist lock also prevents the dowel from rotating when screwing in the screw and spreading becomes impossible. Our dowels are generally also suitable for push-through mounting of slim components. They can be found in concrete, solid brick, KS solid brick, perforated brick, KS perforated stone, aerated concrete and natural stone with dense structure. This means for you: 100% hold in almost all building materials thanks to the combination of dowel and screw.
