The person installing the parts is responsible for ordering the correct parts, installing the parts correctly and should be held responsible for the service outcome. Installation of parts will require the ability to read the markings on your power supply board to locate the correct components to repair and install them correctly. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF HEAT SINK COMPOUND? For electrical applications, heat sink compound is used to thermally bond a component with a mechanical heat sink. The compound is designed to efficiently transfer the heat from the heat generating component to the heat dissipating device.
