Durable Material & Finish: M2 (6544) high-speed steel taps offer high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, and excellent cutting performance.
Tips: Machine tap is used with drill presses, tapping/CNC/milling machines. NOT recommended for hand and electric drill tapping. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. Drill the holes with a twist drill bit first, then tap with a thread tap. The tapping angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable.
