Special Features

  • Designed for through-hole beds only – The STL Beds Through-Hole Bolt Kit is specifically engineered for headboards and footboards with holes drilled all the way through the leg. The bolt must be able to pass completely through the wood or metal post and exit the back side for a secure installation.
  • Includes two bolt lengths – Eliminate the guesswork and extra trips to the hardware store. Each kit includes four 2.5-inch bolts for thinner frames and four 4-inch bolts for thicker legs, providing a versatile fit for various bed styles.
  • Heavy-duty steel hardware – These aren't flimsy furniture screws. Our professional-grade bed rail bolts are built to lock headboards and footboards tightly to open-slotted, bolt-on side rails and frame mounting brackets for lasting stability.
  • Not compatible with threaded inserts – This kit is not for use with beds that use threaded inserts, lag bolts, or partially drilled "blind" holes. If the bolt cannot pass fully through the leg to the other side, this is not the correct hardware for your bed.
  • Two kits required for full sets – Each kit contains enough hardware to connect one "board" (either a headboard or a footboard). If you are installing both a headboard and a footboard, please ensure you order two kits.
