Description

The SUPCO VAS-078 7/8" OD Vibration Absorber is a professional-grade refrigerant line component designed to isolate compressor vibration in HVAC and refrigeration systems.

During operation, compressors generate mechanical vibration that can travel through connected refrigerant piping. Over time, this vibration can cause noise, pipe fatigue, and stress on brazed joints. Vibration absorbers are installed in suction or discharge lines to dampen vibration and protect system piping.

This model features a deep-pitch stainless steel corrugated hose with a high-tensile braided outer reinforcement, providing flexibility while maintaining structural integrity in high-pressure systems. The copper tube ends allow the absorber to be easily brazed into standard refrigeration piping during installation.
