I CUSTOM CUT EACH ROD FROM A NEW 6 FOOT LONG LENGTH OF ROD. THE SAW BLADE IS 1/8" THICK. THEREFORE 1/8" OF MATERIAL IS LOST DURING THE CUTTING PROCESS. ) These rods are 100% AQUARIUM SAFE! The Rods will glow ONLY when in the influence of a BLACK FLUORESCENT type light as shown in the last picture. In normal light conditions the rods are very vibrant GREEN. As you can see from the pictures of the rod on the black grid, these rods are translucent. The color of the rods will vary depending on the back round color and light conditions due to being translucent. You are buying and will receive ONE GREEN FLUORESCENT 1" Square x 12" (11 7/8") long rod. To assure that you get the finest quality, the protective sleeve is kept in place on the rods while being cut to protect the acrylic. All rods have saw cut edges on both ends. Saw cutting can cause micro chips at the ends of the rod as seen in the pictures. Please allow a tolerance of +/- 1/16" on all pieces.
