The Proper Mushroom Grazer is designed to repair mushroomed pool cue tips by trimming off any excess cue tip so that the tip will be flush with the ferrule of your cue's shaft. Through adjusting the knob on top of the Joe Proper Mushroom Grazer aluminum body you can ensure a clean cut to your cue tip without damaging your ferrule. This is done through adjusting the depth of where the blade meets the cue tip. Using surgical blade steel for a precise and clean cut, a rigid aluminum body with knurling for a tight grip, and an adjustable plastic knob for depth control the Joe Proper Mushroom Grazer is built to last. Looking through the slot where the blade makes contact with the cue tip set the mushroom grazer on top of your cue's shaft adjusting the plastic knob up or down so that the blade will only have contact with the cue tip and not with your ferrule. After turning the knob to set the appropriate depth so that only the tip meets with the blade hold your cue's shaft steadily in one hand and push the mushroom grazer down on the cue tip in the other hand. Looking through the opening where the blade meets the cue tip slowly rotate your shaft to ensure that small amounts of the mushroomed tip are removed.
