Nord-Lock Wedge Lock Washers secure bolted connections that are subjected to strong vibration and dynamic loads by clamping force instead of friction.
The wedge lock washer is surface hardened to ensure it is harder than the screw and contact surface. 254 SMO is corrosion resistant and is well suited for use in saltwater environments.
Lubrication recommended. Safety function is not affected by lubrication. No tightening required. Reusable depending on the conditions of use.
