Color: Black anodized Material: Aluminum Alloy Size: 6AN-1/4NPS These 6AN to 1/4"NPS transmission adapter fittings are for converting your factory quick connect lines to AN Braided Rubber or PTFE hose. Made from high-quality aluminum and anodized black for corrosion resistance. Note: GM used two different thread types on the cooling line fittings for transmissions. Some transmission cases are machined for NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads and some are machined with NPSM (National Pipe Straight Mechanical) threads and use a crush washer for sealing. Always check the threads on your transmission case before ordering fittings.
