Operating Instructions
1. Place the test specimen on a flat, rigid surface with sufficient hardness.
2. Hold the tester firmly to ensure full contact between its base and the coated surface.
3. Apply even pressure and use a sharp blade to make smooth, steady cuts at a speed of 20-50 mm/s without shaking.
4. Rotate the tester 90° and repeat the cutting process over the existing incisions to create a crosshatch pattern.
5. Use a soft brush to remove any loose debris, exposing the clear grid pattern on the test surface.
6. Apply standardized adhesive tape over the grid, then peel it off to evaluate the coating's adhesion strength.
