Tremco Vulkem 950NF is a 4.2 gallon, two-component aromatic polyurethane traffic deck coating designed for use as an intermediate or top coat within approved Vulkem Deck Coating Systems. This solvent-free, ultra-low VOC formulation is cold-applied and used in multi-layer waterproof traffic deck assemblies for pedestrian and vehicular applications. The 4.2 gallon kit includes 3.25 gallons of Part A supplied in a 5-gallon pail and 0.95 gallons of Part B supplied in a 1-gallon pail. The material is mixed on site to create a durable elastomeric coating layer within the system. When installed as an intermediate coat, Vulkem 950NF can be broadcast with aggregate to create a reinforced layer that enhances surface texture and supports system durability. It is typically applied between the base membrane and top coat within traffic deck assemblies. As an aromatic polyurethane, Vulkem 950NF is generally used in areas not exposed to prolonged UV weathering or as part of a system where a UV-stable top coat is applied. It may also be used as a top coat in below-grade parking structures and other non-UV exposed environments. The coating provides strong tensile properties and flexible elongation to accommodate concrete movement while maintaining an abrasion-resistant surface.
