E-Z Coil Threaded Inserts for Metal 10-24
Protect tapped holes from stripping and wear and quickly repair damaged threads in soft metal with the E-Z LOK Coil Thread Inserts for metal. Also known as wire thread inserts or helical threaded inserts, the 18-8 stainless steel threaded inserts are resistant to corrosion and can withstand temperatures to 800°F. The 10-24 thread inserts are designed for use with soft metals such as aluminum, cast iron, magnesium, etc. An ideal solution for repairing or reinforcing tapped holes in metal.
Coil thread inserts compress during installation and the compression secures the insert into place and keeps it from backing out. Requires a special tap and installation tool.
