This hex tie rod end weld bung/tube adapter are designed to be used with 7/8 tie rod with 1” ID. This is the perfect product if you are using thicker tubing of around 1/4 wall. It has thick sleeves, making the weld stronger. Bung 1” ID HEX fits well inside the tube, and threads don't get overheated while welding. Important Details: Hex Tie Rods are welded on 1.50” OD DOM tubes. It has a 7/8” right-hand thread with an 18-tpi thread pitch. Fits well with a 1-inch inner diameter tube. Will not work with spherical rod and heim joints.They have 14 TPI. It is proudly made in the USA.
