SPH0645 I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout Board captures audio signals with digital precision. Ideal for audio recording and sound detection projects requiring clear signal integrity. This MEMS microphone module solves the need for reliable digital audio input in embedded systems and DIY electronics
Connect the three digital pins—Clock, Data, and Left-Right Select—to your microcontroller. The I2S master drives clock signals while reading data seamlessly. For mono recording, set the channel via the Select pin. Achieve stereo by pairing two microphones sharing clock and data lines with opposing Select pin configurations

Note:
This I2S MEMS microphone is bottom ported, so make sure you have the hole in the bottom facing out towards the sounds you want to read. It's a 1.6-3.6V maximum device only, so not for use with 5V logic (its really unlikely you'd have a 5V-logic device with I2S anyways). Many beginner microcontroller boards don't have I2S, so make sure its a supported interface before you try to wire it up! This microphone is best used with Cortex M-series chips or single-board computers
