Bettermaker Made It Better! True to their name, Bettermaker has made their excellent Mastering Limiter even better. Like its predecessor, the Mastering Limiter 2.0 leverages a 100% pure analog signal path with digital plug-in control, but with loads of new bells and whistles. These amenities include a new optimized limiter engine that lets you limit the gain reduction amount, a limiter sidechain with a highpass filter and high frequency emphasis, a +8dB boost at either 2kHz or 7kHz, and an improved Clipper section with either High or Low Soft Clip plus Soft Clip Trim. But we're not done yet! The 2.0 also retains faster release times, a lowered noise floor and total harmonic distortion (THD), an Input/Output Link for precise dialing of the limiting amount, a flat frequency response, and a new color section with M/S matrix plus even and odd harmonics.
