Building on the revolutionary Progressive Center of Gravity (CG) design from the Vokey Design SM8, the new SM9 takes innovation further. The SM9 retains the forward CG position, enhancing impact feel and consistency. Vertical CG is increased by adding weight to the topline, with a subtle toe pad aligning the CG without disrupting the visual. Progressive hosel lengths, particularly in higher lofts (58-62), boost distance, trajectory control, and stability. A refined Spin Milled cutting process sharpens grooves, ensuring consistent spin and precision. Each groove is meticulously inspected for conformity to golf rules, with micro-grooves between them maximizing spin on partial shots. A proprietary heat treatment doubles groove durability without compromising feel, making it the most durable in golf. Grooves are individually cut based on loft and finish, with lower lofts (46-54) featuring narrower, deeper grooves and higher lofts (56-62) having wider, shallower grooves.
