This ultraviolet lamp is designed for installation in ductwork systems with a minimum of 14 inches of inside clearance, and it is suitable for air conditioning and heating (A/C HVAC) systems of up to 5 tons. Made and assembled in the USA, the lamp consists of three main components:

1. The Bulb: This bulb emits UVC light at a wavelength of 253.7 nm, proven to be 99.9% effective within 1.5 minutes of exposure. It has an expected lifespan of 9,000 hours (over 12 months) if kept on continuously. It is registered by the EPA (EPA Est. No. 97544-CHN-1).
2. 120V Ballast: This energy-efficient ballast provides constant power at 14 watts. It features an LED light to alert you when the bulb stops working (green light on = bulb is okay). The ballast includes a 3-foot cord for connecting to the power source and a 3-foot cord for connecting to the bulb.

3. The Mounting Base: The aluminum mounting base is designed for easy installation in the duct system using metal tape. It is lightweight and allows easy access for maintenance, such as bulb replacement. The base plate measures 6" x 6". Additionally, the ballast has an LED indicator that goes off when the bulb stops working. A clear screw is included for visual inspection of the tube, which requires opening another small hole in the duct system.

The base and ballast come with a one-year warranty. The bulb needs to be replaced annually and has a 90-day replacement warranty.
