Carnelian is a red-orange-rust variety of chalcedony. The color comes from iron ore, and is enhanced by heat-treating. The briolette is a 12x8mm flat faceted teardrop. Upper beads are amber chips. Beads are meticulously wire-wrapped for beauty and security.
