Beautiful material created using the volcanic ash from the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Helenite is an abandoned trademark name and all Helenite is created by man and there is no equivalent natural counterpart. The closest natural materials are Obsidian and Volcanic Glass which are commonly black in color. The material used for our gems is no longer produced and therefore implies some rarity, but it should be noted that similar material can be reproduced at any time.

Our gems are calibrated for easy design for the artist and use in standard settings by the jeweler, goldsmith or silversmith.
