This rod Directly Replaces the Thomas TBB 136302 and SMI 68177. It is the primary fitment for:
Fits Thomas Built Buses: Saf-T-Liner C2 (2004-Present)
Fits Base Assemblies: Compatible with SMI Air (Part# 028114) and Electric (Part# 078114) units mounted behind the bumper.
Critical Fitment Note:
This rod fits the standard SMI bases used for the last 20 years. However, if you have upgraded to the new Defender Series base (XE278114), this rod will NOT fit. Please verify your base model before ordering.
