Special Features

  • CORDURA Fabric Cover: The Tough cover has a transparent abrasion resistant polycarbonate display surface. Holds maps or other important documents securely. Pen holders and zippered pockets to stash your important gear in the inside. Write and erase on the polycarbonate cover with grease pencils, alcohol pens, and non-permanent markers (not included).
  • TACTICAL NOTEBOOK: Rite in the Rain's Tactical Field Book includes 160 pages / 80 sheets with 16 pages of reference materials, map scales, and conversion tables. (No. 980T)
  • TOUGH METAL PEN: The all-metal clicker pen will write through water, grease, and mud without clumping or smearing. The pressurized cartridge with proprietary ink with write in temperatures from -30F to 250F, under water (up to 35 ft), and at any angle. Not for use on the polycarbonate cover. (No. 97)
  • WRITE IN THE RAIN: When wet, use a standard #2 pencil or an all-weather pen. Standard ballpoints and permanent markers will work when paper is dry. Water-based inks will bead or wash off Rite in the Rain Paper.
  • The Land NAV Cover, the Rite in the Rain Field Book, and the All-Weather Pen are all entirely Made in the USA.

Description

The Land NAV KIT by BATTLE BOARD is tailored to fit many styles of Rite In The Rain All-Weather Field-Flex Notebooks. The cover features a transparent abrasion resistant polycarbonate display surface that pins a map securely underneath for accurate, efficient maneuver planning. Write and erase on the polycarbonate surface with grease pencils, alcohol pens, and non-permanent markers (not included). This comprehensive kit contains the Land NAV Cover, the No. 980T Tactical Notebook, and No. 97 All-Weather Pen. The 980T features 16 pages of reference material such as templates for sector sketching, 9-Line MEDEVAC, range cards, first aid, and more. The 97 is an All-Weather Pen that can write through precipitation, at odd angles, and in extreme temperatures (not for use on the polycarbonate cover).
