Description

Artist Michael Vincent Michaud has studied extensively with some of America's finest glass artists and institutions and collaborated with his acclaimed father on jewelry collections for museums around the world. Today, Michael combines his knowledge of glass working, his experience in jewelry creation, and his keen sense of design to create colorful works of wearable art. Hand-cast recycled glass ginkgo leaves of gorgeous green are framed in solid bronze layered in 24k gold with a matte luster to create a tasteful color combination. The adjustable cuff bracelet measures 5.5" from end to end, suitable for wrist sizes up to 7.5". Made by hand in the USA. Please note: Because the artisan glass is hand-cast and the bronze is hand-formed, small variations in shape are to be expected and adds unique artistic character. Fitting Tip: To prevent metal fatigue, do not bend and re-adjust the bracelet every time is is put on. To take the cuff on and off, relax the wrist. At 1/4 to 1/3 of the way between the wrist and elbow, slide the cuff on (as there is less bone mass here). The cuff can then be slid down to fit between the wrist and hand. Initially, adjust the bracelet once so that there is an opening of 1" to 1.5", allowing the cuff to be put on and removed at the same location each time.
