Installation steps:
1. Remove the old joint: Use the heater hose removal tool to remove the old joint from the firewall. Avoid using pliers or forcing operations to prevent damage to the pipeline.
2. Prepare the heater core pipeline: Thoroughly clean the dirt, debris or corrosion on the heater core pipeline with a dry cloth. Residues may cause leakage or poor sealing.
3. Install the new joint: Joint is designed for a tight seal. A small amount of soapy water can be applied to the heater core pipe to facilitate smooth sliding in. Push in with force until you hear or feel a distinct "click" sound, indicating that the locking mechanism is in place.
4. Secure the hose: Connect the heater hose to the joint and tighten the included clamp with a screwdriver. Make sure the hose is free from twisting or bending.
